The Institute for Legal Studies hosted the first summer university of the re:constitution alumni network in Budapest from 3 to 6 August 2026, on the theme What comes after liberal constitutionalism?

The latest issue of the European Journal of Risk Regulation, a Cambridge-based Q1 academic journal  has been published under the guest editorship of Fruzsina Gárdos-Orosz and Zoltán Szente, research professors at the Institute for Legal Studies.

Edited by Márton Varju and Kitti Mezei, The Challenges of Artificial Intelligence for Law in Europe is published by Springer as part of the Data Science, Machine Intelligence, and Law series. The volume was produced in the framework of the MILAB (National Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence).

Kecskés Gábor, research fellow at the Centre for Social Sciences, Institute for Legal Studies, will be conducting research at the world-famous prestigious Centre for Studies and Research of The Hague Academy of International Law in 2025.
